On October 17, 2026, we will be celebrating 100 years of Tomerong Hall - the beating heart of the Tomerong village. Over the last 10 months, the centenary committee has been planning this celebration. We have linked up with past and present locals, recorded some of their stories and developed a centenary program that pays homage to our village and the people who have shaped it.
Of course, there are so many people who have contributed to the richness of Tomerong over the decades, and while we cannot feature everyone, we want to acknowledge those early settlers who came before, those in between and the current generation of custodians. Since its establishment in 1926, Tomerong Hall has brought people together. It continues to do so. If only these walls could talk!!!
We recognize & pay respects to the Traditional Custodians, the Dhurga and Dharawal language speakers of the Yuin Nation on whose lands Tomerong Hall has been built.
